The ISL1220IUZ is an advanced low-power Real Time Clock (RTC) integrated circuit. It offers precise timing and calendar functions, tracking hours, minutes, seconds, date, month, year, and day of the week. This device includes intelligent battery backup switching and power fail detection for reliable operation. An 8-byte battery-backed user SRAM provides essential data retention. It features an I2C interface for efficient data transfer at 400kHz. The ISL1220IUZ also provides a frequency output pin and a single alarm with a dedicated interrupt. Its on-chip oscillator compensation ensures accuracy. Designed for a wide range of applications, it comes in a small 10 Ld MSOP package and is RoHS compliant.
