HT9170 Holtek DTMF Receiver IC - 16-Tone Decoder

The Holtek HT9170 is a Dual Tone Multi-Frequency (DTMF) receiver. It decodes all 16 standard DTMF tone pairs. The output is a 4-bit digital code. This series integrates a digital decoder and bandsplit filter functions. Switched capacitor filters divide incoming DTMF signals into low and high group frequencies. A built-in dial tone rejection circuit eliminates pre-filtering requirements. HT9170B and HT9170D types include power-down and inhibit modes. Digital counting techniques are used for tone detection.
